Team collect multiple awards at MBKC Presentation Evening

The team attended the MBKC Presentation Evening held on the 12th January to collect various awards. Dominic Allmark collected awards for Runner-up in the MBKC TKM Extreme Championship along with 'Most Improved Senior Driver' for his performances throughout the 2012 season. Jake Coward collected the Winners Trophy for the Autumn Series in Snr TKM. The team would like to thank MBKC for putting on a great evening. We would also like to thank all our associates for their efforts in 2012 and are looking forward to this continuing throughout 2013 with some exciting news and developments on the way! Photos to follow very soon.

Coward and Goldkart win MBKC 'C' Plate

The Goldkart proved to excel in all conditions yet again with Jake Coward taking both heat wins in the wet & winning the final on a drying track on slicks, along with all three fastest laps to take the 'C' plate at 3 Sisters. This means should Jake and the team run in Snr TKM at any point next year at MBKC then they will display the letter C instead of a number to indicate we are the holders!

Precision Racing in Winning Team at Ginetta PPIK 24 Hour Kart Race

Precision Racing Co Owners, Jake Coward and Carl Bagley recently attended the Ginetta PPIK 24 Hour Kart Race in Leeds which helped raise money for Children in Need. Yorkshire motorsport giants Ginetta and Pole Position Indoor Karting raised over £9,015 as a result of their 24 hour kart race this weekend.

Coward & Goldkart takes Autumn Series at 3 Sisters

Following taking pole and 2nd in the final at the last round of MBKC Championship, this was more than enough to secure Coward the autumn series. The team are really pleased to have secured the victory in the three round series and look forward to building on this success in 2013!

Allmark takes 2nd in MBKC Championship!

The team would like to say a huge congratulations to Dom Allmark who finished 2nd in this seasons MBKC Championship at 3 Sisters. Dom has been consistent throughout the year and put in numerous excellent drives to achieve a great result considering he is only recently off novice plates! The team are very proud of Dom's achievement!

Coward takes podium on Goldkart

At the last round of the MBKC Championship the team fielded driver Jake Coward competing in SNR TKM. In tough conditions throughout the day, Coward took the win in both heats which gave him pole for the final.
In the final Coward crossed the line in 2nd finishing right on the bumper of the winner. Jake's assessment of the day was "Obviously I'm disappointed that we didn't manage the clean sweep today having been so dominant in the heats, however we have again demonstrated the Goldkart's pace in all conditions".

Whitmore wins 'Cock of the North' novice trophy

Precision Racing would like to congratulate Ben Whitmore on winning 'Cock of the North' novice trophy at Wombwell last weekend. 

Whitmore entered the TKM Extreme class on his TKM Gold Kart outfit and put in a series of great drivers throughout the weekend and was competitive in each session mixing in with the locals in the mid-pack to secure the award whilst also gaining vital experience and confidence!

Neary looking good during testing

Jack Neary has recently returned to the seat and completed a number of successful test days with the team in SNR Rotax. Substantial progress has been made during these test days in both improving Jack’s pace, consistency and confidence. The feedback from the most recent test day was that Jack had enjoyed the day more than any other since beginning karting, due to the progress made and the confidence gained which is great news. The team now look forward to working with Jack throughout 2013 when returns to racing on a regular basis.

David Lane enjoys test day with team

Newcomer to the team, David Lane, completed his first test day with the team at the weekend in SNR Rotax at Hooton Park. Despite being out of the seat for close to a year, David impressed throughout the day, making consistent progress during each session with the teams help and support. The whole team are now looking forward to working with David throughout 2013 when he returns to racing regularly with a view to compete at 3 Sisters, Wigan.
