The team would like to say a huge well done to Phil Gibbons who took yet another podium in 2010 with his second place finish at Hooton Park, this secured Phil 2nd place in the Northern NKRA Championship and sealed victory in the Northern Blue Challenge, an impressive achievement for someone in their first full season of racing!
The team would like to say a huge well done to Mark Morton who took pole position for the final in the recent Platinum Cup at Wigan, this was after Mark won 2 of the 3 heats. Unfortunately Mark was taken out early in the final whilst running in 3rd position, a top 3 was defiantely on the cards which would of meant Precision Racing drivers would of been on all 3 steps of the podium!
The team would like to congratulate Jake Coward and Jonny Elliott after their excellent battle in the final in which they secured 1st and 2nd place in TKM Extreme Platinum Cup held at 3 Sisters, Wigan.
Having both drivers pulled clear of the chasing pack they then set about a battle over the last 5 laps which had the spectators on the edge of their seats as both Coward and Elliott traded places on some laps several times.
The two drivers pushed each other to the limit displaying some awesome overtaking manoeuvres but at no point did either driver make contact, the hard but clean racing was appreciated by all and at the chequered flag Coward took the win by 0.07 seconds!
The team are very proud to announce that they not only won the final at the Platinum Cup, they also took 2nd place as well, secured pole position for the final and also won all 3 heats! Well done to all the teams drivers!
The Precision Racing Team would like to congratulate Phil Gibbons on winning the Cheshire Oaks Trophy at Hooton Park. It was an outstanding drive by Gibbons in the final showing yet again he's the man to beat in wet conditions. The result also keeps the ChKRC championship very tight with the top 3 drivers having only a few points difference.
